We decided to produce our wallets only with a few small- to medium-sized European leather manufactories, which are quickly reachable by car from Munich. Only in this way can we ensure fair labor conditions and the best product quality. Moreover, our products do not need to be shipped around the world.

The Flap-Series is available in 2 variations. The Flap Boy has a big compartment for coins, which makes it thicker than the Flap Boy Slim and holds 3 less credit card slots. The Flap Boy Slim has no coin pocket. Other than that, both models are identical.

We use cutting-edge laser embossing technology to engrave your desired name or initials into the surface of the leather. The engraving is positioned on the right bottom corner of the wallet as you can see on the picture. In order to add your name or initials simply use the dropdown menu above the “Add to Cart” button to choose the respective option to add your name or initials. Then enter your desired name or initials in the field below. You can add a maximum of 25 signs including white space.(Please be aware that our customized wallets with engraving cannot be returned except for quality issues of course.)

Does the Flap Boy Slim hold coins?
No, the Flap Boy Slim is designed for people who don’t want to carry coins. As a result, the wallet is super slim. If you are searching for a wallet that can carry coins, our Flap Boy or Flap Boy XL is the right choice for you. Those wallets are similar to the Flap Boy Slim, besides the fact that they come with a large coin compartment. The Flap Boy XL offers more room for cards than the Flap Boy but is thicker than the Flap Boy.
What is the difference between the Flap Boy, Flap Boy Slim and Flap Boy XL?
The Flap Boy has a large coin compartment. Therefore it is thicker than the Flap Boy Slim and has 3 credit card slots less. The Flap Boy Slim has no coin compartment. Otherwise, both models are identical. The Flap Boy XL has the same large coin compartment as the Flap Boy but offers an additional card compartment with a pull tab for 6 cards. In addition, the card slots of the Flap Boy XL are all inside the wallet and not visible from the outside.
How many and which notes fit into the wallet?
All Euro notes fit in the wallet - from the 5 Euro note to the 200 Euro note. Also, foreign currencies like dollar and pound are no problem. 20 notes easily fit into the wallet.

The Flap Boy Slim has 8 card slots and offers space for at least 8 cards, if used with 2 cards in each card slot, space for a maximum of 16 cards.

What color is the engraving?
During engraving, a special laser is used to remove the top layer of leather. No color is used. Depending on the type of leather, the engraving has a different effect. Both in terms of color and intensity. Very dominant and clear is the engraving on smooth leather and buffalo leather. The engraving is more discreet on coated leathers such as carbon and leathers with structure such as perforated leather.
